The Beltline

What a perfect day for a stroll in Atlanta. Sunny and 75!

Choosing a new route to explore I ventured into Ponce City Market for some quirky finds before hitting the beltline. Their "Food Hall" contains everything from a cookie dough bar (whats batter then that?) to delicious coffee at Revelator while furniture at west elm. Ponce City Market is full of history from the late 1800s! The restored Sears and Roebuck factory is now one of Atlanta's vital landmarks located in Old Fourth Ward and now housing lofts, the food hall, rooftop skyline park ,and entrance to the Beltline. This eclectic market is filled with artisan foods and flavorful finds and just keeps growing.

Winding up the staircase we skipped the bites for some views. Getting our lay of the land we took off towards Innman Park on the Beltline. The Beltline itself is so unique being converted from an old rail line in Atlanta to a walkway connecting to all different great locations in the city. It's clean and so safe and always has some fun entertainment such as pub crawls or themed events.

Today we just set out to exercise and enjoy trying something new. There was so much eye-catching art to keep you interested on the journey with colors that pop off structures to hidden graffiti messages along the way. The path was filled with tons of others on this perfect Saturday we saw bikers, runners, rollerbladers (love these coming back), and even some scooter riders (up and coming in Atlanta). Everyone was enjoying the views and the perfect weather, and of course, cooling off with King of Pops.

Such a fun time I can't wait to go back and explore more of their trendy shops and obviously try the cookie dough bar .....It was a lot to do and not enough time. This is the perfect one of a kind spot to gather, eat, and shop day or night.
