Savannah Wedding Weekend

Dum Dum Da dum.........

Love is in full bloom this spring! One of my childhood family friends was getting hitched this weekend in one of the most beautiful cities in the south, Savannah Georgia! This historical town has so much to offer from gorgeous views to unique streets to explore ( and the best pralines you've ever eaten on River Street).
Spring is the perfect time for a wedding before the bugs swarm and the weather is magical. Plus the benefit of whole wedding looked like a giant botanical garden with everything blooming.

Ships of the Sea Maritime museum was located in Savannah's vibrant downtown. Overlooking the eye-catching Talmadge Memorial Bridge landmark. The private gardens engulfed by greenery made for a romantic intamate venue.

One of my favorites : Love is the blossom of life and blooms unexpectedly and without law- DH Lawrence

Such an intimate setting full packed with so much love. The night swept on with a lot of savannah sunset cocktails and boogieing down the dance floor.

The next morning we set off on a stroll down Broughton Street to some of my favorite spots and shops. Coffee at of course The Paris Market and Brocante  was a priority and trying to burn off the calories we stuffed ourselves with from the most delectable brunch at Sunny Side Up Cafe (a hidden gem). Every corner and every turn holds some fascinating history. This town is so unique and has so much to offer from lazily lounging in Forsyth Park, or posh dining at The Olde Pink House, riding along horse and carriage for a tour downtown, or sunbathing over at Tybee Island. Whatever you want to do Savannah has it. With only a half day on our schedule we didn't get to cover much, but it just gives me an excuse to go back and explore more of savannah's charm.
