Valentines day...Galantines day... whatever your fancy!

Cupid is fast approaching love bugs!

  

I know Valentines Day can be quite lonely for us single ladies seeing all the cute couples being all mushy gushy and lovey dovey but, there’s hope to be had!

Don’t spend another valentines day snuggled on your couch drowning yourself in red wine and stuffing your face with chocolate as you sob to yet another Nicholas Sparks movie...we've all been there.

Today is known to be all about romance and emotional hoopla for all the lovebirds out there…but its not just for the couples anymore!

Thanks to the amazing invention of Galentine's day! Its a chance to get yourself all dolled up and go out on the town with the girls and still experience valentines day. Its fun (seriously)!

Some fun experiences I would recommend:

Movie date=. I mean it’s always very entertaining to swoon over Christian Gray with your besties and jumbo popcorn! You can’t go wrong this time of year so many great movies in theater. Or, you can always opt to just stay home and binge your favorite TV show (friends, sex and the city)! Stack up on candies and gummies and enjoy!

Pamper party= This is all about doing all that fun girly jazz! Spoil yourselves to a luxury day spa or a DIY spa day. Who doesn’t love staying in their robe all day?.. Now, just sit back relax and get treated to face masks, painted nails, and of course Pink cocktails!

V-day restaurant scene = Personally, I love getting all done up every once in awhile. It’s a chance to go all out in a sexy red dress or those new pink shoes you’ve been dying to show off. It’s entertaining for V-day, because restaurants are themed with whimsical drinks and unusual menus!  Look up some scrumptious spots with a good ambiance and reserve a spot before they get swiped.

Home where the heart is = Why not just DIY? Ballin on a Budget? Host a dinner party at your place! Just spruce up the decor with colorful flowers and goodies for guests! This is fun because you can invite the whole gang! It’s a chance for friends to be together and pop in before doing their own thing later, but also creates an environment for single folks to stay and hang! Everyone can pitch in and bring a bite to eat or BYOB.

Keep it funky; pink frosted cupcakes for desert anyone? (Crowd pleaser)

Whatever you decide just remember its ONE day and you have other relationships besides boyfriends and girlfriends! So surround yourself in love, that’s what the day is for! Oh, and chocolate, surround yourself with that too!
